Do you Accept Insurance?
We do not accept insurance in order to provide the highest level of personalized care. This allows us to focus solely on your unique needs without being restricted by insurance limitations or protocols. Our goal is to offer the most effective and flexible treatment options tailored specifically to you. We provide a superbill for out-of-network benefits.
Where will services be provided?
Teletherapy services available for Indiana and South Carolina residents. In-home services available in Indianapolis, IN.
What does an evaluation include, and how long do they last?
All evaluations include a parent/patient interview, a comprehensive assessment, and review of findings. Evaluations are blocked for 90 minutes. A full report and treatment plan are completed after the evaluation and sent to you via our patient portal.
Will you collaborate with other professionals for the patient?
Collaboration is key for a successful treatment plan and is a high priority. Communication and collaboration are necessary to get the best patient outcomes!
My child did not qualify for early intervention or previous services, can you still work with them?
Yes! My approach to therapy is very specialized and I am able to treat areas on a deeper level than what may have previously been offered in other settings.
Why do you need therapy BEFORE a tongue tie release?
Muscle function optimization: Therapy improves the function and coordination of the tongue to help prepare the muscles for optimal function after the procedure
Prevention of compensatory patterns: We address the compensatory habits before the procedure to keep them from persisting.
Enhanced procedure outcomes: Pre-op therapy ensures tongue tie release procedure is more effective.
Facilitation of healing: Therapy helps aid in the recovery process by prompting proper healing and decreasing chances of reattachment.
How long is treatment duration?
Treatment depends on a variety of factors such as age, home carryover, and severity. Samantha uses an individualized approach to best suit her clients and does not have an exact timeline for treatment goals to be met.
